Description
The tour begins with passenger pickup from their hotels between 2:30 AM and 3:00 AM, heading toward the town of Chivay. From there, we continue to the famous Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to observe the majestic Andean condors in flight.
We will also visit the traditional villages of Maca and Yanque, rich in culture and scenic beauty. Then we return to Chivay and head to the La Calera hot springs, where we’ll enjoy approximately 1 hour of relaxation.
Afterward, we return to Chivay for lunch, then begin the journey back to Arequipa, arriving at around 5:00 PM.
The tour begins with hotel pickup between 2:30 AM and 3:00 AM, heading toward the town of Chivay. Upon arrival, we’ll stop for breakfast and to purchase the tourist tickets.
We then continue to the spectacular viewpoint known as the Cruz del Cóndor, with a drive of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. At this site, you’ll be able to witness the dramatic formation of the Colca Canyon and observe the majestic Andean condors in flight. We’ll spend about 1 hour in this area.
Next, we’ll visit several natural viewpoints, including Wayrapunko, Antahuilque, and Choquetico, where you can admire pre-Incan constructions, hanging tombs, and stone models (litho-scale representations) of the area made by ancient civilizations.
On our return route, we’ll make brief stops in the picturesque villages of Maca and Yanque before heading back to Chivay, where we’ll visit the La Calera hot springs for approximately 1 hour of relaxation.
Finally, we return to Chivay for lunch, and then begin the trip back to Arequipa, arriving at approximately 5:00 PM.
