After adjusting to the altitude with a traditional coca tea, set out in the afternoon to explore Cusco’s iconic sites, including the Koricancha Temple, the grand Cathedral, and remarkable Inca ruins like Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay.

On the second day, travel into the Sacred Valley to visit the ancient ruins of Pisac and enjoy a local lunch in Urubamba. Continue to the impressive fortress of Ollantaytambo and stop at the colorful town of Chinchero on your return to Cusco. The third day brings you to the highlight of the tour—Machu Picchu.
