In accordance with Law No. 28251, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR) has established a policy against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA). As part of this initiative, the ESNNA Code and INCABOUND have signed an agreement to carry out joint actions aimed at preventing and eradicating this problem. Therefore, we declare that:

We reject the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents (ESNNA) in Peru and around the world, in general and particularly in its forms linked to tourism and travel, as it constitutes conduct that violates people’s fundamental rights and contradicts the essential objectives of tourism in our country.

We denounce and condemn those who use tourism activities, facilities, and services to promote, facilitate, or tolerate the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. In this regard, INCABOUND adheres to this Code of Conduct against the Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents in the Tourism Sector.

This Code represents a formal declaration of voluntary adherence, aimed at establishing standards of conduct for all people working at INCABOUND, with the goal of protecting children and adolescents from all forms of sexual exploitation and human trafficking linked to tourism and travel.

Likewise, the people who make up this company commit to adopting the necessary measures to protect girls, boys, and adolescents from sexual exploitation, fulfilling the following commitments:

  • Maintain an ethical policy rejecting the commercial sexual exploitation of girls, boys, and adolescents in the context of tourism and travel.
  • Inform and train staff about the company’s policy on preventing the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism.
  • Visibly display symbols that warn customers and suppliers about our position regarding the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents in tourism.
  • Include a clause in contracts with tourism service providers expressing the mutual rejection of the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents. The following paragraph will be used:

“Tourism promotes childhood and adolescence free from sexual exploitation; therefore, we do not accept any act that encourages the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.”
